Push Pull

“My flight was late,” I confessed. The sweet, sultry memory stirred. Rare for me to concede to desire, but our dance’s push-pull elevated want to need. My arousal came not from his touch. For me, it was the draw of the blade and the slow sound his last breath made.

About: This piece was a potential submission in the YeahWrite Super Challenge #18 where all work had to begin with the prompt “My flight was late.” Additionally, each submission had to be exactly 50 words.
